This is a 10-15 minute assembly to celebrate and explain My Money Week in June 2022. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Year 7-13) as a whole school assembly or tutor time resource. It is also suitable for PSHE & Citizenship sessions. It includes: What My Money Week is What we need to learn about money at school A short video clip about saving (downloaded so it will never disappear) Exploring why people want to be rich 8 important lessons about money (that adults wish they knew as children) A short video clip about social media money scams (downloaded so it will never disappear) Quotes, dual coding and discussion tasks to end It is fully narrated but this can easily be adapted by deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer it not narrated. This is a 15 minute assembly, PSHE, tutor time session which covers what terrorism is, what the opinions of young people are about terrorism and focuses on what to do in a terrorist attack. It mentions the Prevent Strategy and has discussion questions and no written tasks. This was originally taught to Year 10 (14-15 year olds) and students reacted well to this presentation. It gives them advice, further information and support and helplines if they need further guidance. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grade 6-12) but it should be noted that this content should be discussed sensitively with students. There are two downloaded video clips which will never disappear. This could be shortened or lengthened according to the session and it can be used for tutor time, assembly, PSHE, Citizenship or British Values lesson or an informative look at what students should do in a terrorist attack as a whole school message. Students reacted very well to this session and lots of interesting discussions came from it. This is a two document package. One is a two sided powerpoint giving 60 PSHE tasks for students to do to keep themselves occupied and to learn about some important issues. This was originally used as a resource for when students were in lockdown at home but has been revamped as a resource with 18 tasks for pupils isolating or alternatives for students if they are pulled out of a PSHE lesson for any reason. There is also some mindfulness colouring in case students are struggling with an issue and just need some time out. There are also some links included to Oak Academy lessons that can be done as home learning. You will get both documents here in case you prefer one to the other or need both for the same purposes as I am using them. Suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and many students have commented about how much they learnt and enjoyed these activities.

This is a weekly plan for PSHE in tutor time on a Thursday next year. It cover PSHE and Citizenship topics and also cover areas of Finance Education, Careers, Character Education, SMSC and FBV. Some of these sessions are available as PowerPoints from my shop. This is a planning document which you may find useful to adapt rather than starting from scratch. This is in addition to PSHE days and other ways of covering all the strands across the new RSE & Health Curriculum. This is a plan for Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly on online abuse. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12) and is great for an assembly or a tutor time PSHE or Personal Development session. This presentation was as a result of online abuse happening within the school community and it was a very effective presentation for the whole school. This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time session about anxiety. It explores ways to help someone suffering with anxiety and how to deal with a panic attack. It incorporates two youtube clips and has a discussion focus. There are no written tasks to complete. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 to give them a quick overview of what anxiety is and how we can support people with mental health issues. This could be used as part of the new RSE & Health Curriculum or as part of a standalone session on mental health, PSHE or tutor time resource.

This powerpoint is designed to last 10-15 minutes as a presentation to be delivered in tutor time to any of KS3 or KS4 (Years 7-11, Ages 11-16). It contains downloaded videos, definitions, information, quizzes and discussion activities. It does not contain written activities but these could easily be added to create a whole lesson. This is suitable for an assembly, tutor time or whole school session.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly about being an entrepreneur. It is suitable as an assembly, a tutor time PSHE, Citizenship or Careers session and offers a snapshot of entrepreneurship. It covers: Definitions of entrepreneur What personal qualities you need Thinking task about the advantages and disadvantages of this career A video about qualities of an entrepreneur A video about how to be an entrepreneur There are discussion questions but no written tasks. The videos are downloaded so will never disappear. This can fit into Careers Education, the new RSE & Health Curriculum, the PSHE & Citizenship curriculum and SMSC and FBV. Students received this session very well and interesting discussions came out of it.

This is a 15 minute tutor time PSHE session about budgeting. It was originally designed for a Year 7 PSHE tutor time session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole lesson. It is suitable for Ages 11-16 (Years 7-11, KS3-KS4, Grades 6-10). It includes: Definitions of budgeting, current account, overdraft Why budgeting is so important to learn about for now and for the future Outgoings for adults Two downloaded videos which will never disappear Thinking and discussion tasks This fits into the Financial Capability section of the PSHE curriculum and can be used for any whole school session for finance.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly about National Careers Week 2022. It can easily be lengthened to last a whole lesson because of the links on the last slide for further activities. It is suitable for the whole school (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, KS3-KS4-KS5) and is a useful way to advertise careers education in your school and give students the necessary links to research further. It includes: What National Careers Week is The Theme this year What Careers Advice is What should we be doing now to help our future career prospects A downloaded and clipped video from National Careers Week about Hope (which will never disappear) A page of important links for further research and activities This fits well into the Gatsby Benchmarks, CEIAG, PSHE and Citizenship curriculms or as a whole school focus.

his is a 10-15 minute assembly about vaccinations. It is not specifically about Covid 19 vaccinations but more about vaccinations in childhood and in general. However, it could easily be used to cover Covid-19 vaccinations as well. It is suitable for KS3-KS4 (Ages 11-18, Grades 6-13, Years 7-13) and was originally a year 9 tutor time PSHE session. It focuses on the key question, Why is getting vaccinated so important for public health? It covers: What vaccines are and why they are important 3 short downloaded videos that will never disappear about: WHO immunisation for all programme A world without vaccines How vaccines work It ends with a plenary discussion task There are no written activities just information and discussion. This fits into the new RSE and Health Curriculum, PSHE or Whole School assembly approach to Healthy Living.

This PowerPoint assembly is fully narrated and covers some guidance for KS3-KS5 pupils about respecting their local community. This is particularly relevant for July 2021 as it goes through the easing of the lockdown restrictions in the UK. It can also be used as a more general tutor time session for PSHE on how to show respect and be kind to others. It includes two videos and two discussion questions at the end. It is 12 minutes in length as a narrated PPoint and then it leaves a few minutes to discuss how they think they can help the local community in the lead up to the Euros, the easing of restrictions and the summer holidays.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly or PSHE tutor time resource about emotional literacy. It has discussion questions and no written tasks. It contains two downloaded videos so they will never disappear and includes a quick overview of the meaning of emotional literacy and how this can be developed. There is a final reflection question to debate as a class. This was originally a Year 8 tutor time PSHE session but can be used for KS3-KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18) as a whole school presentation.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly about avoiding debt and saving money. This is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and can be used as part of the Finance Education curriculum, PSHE & Citizenship and as a tutor time whole school assembly. It covers: Why it is best to avoid debt How can they avoid debt A video about creating a budget A video about saving money A discussion task as a quick plenary. Both videos are downloaded so will never disappear and there are no written activities. This can easily be lengthened to last a whole lesson or be used as whole school resource to teach students about avoiding debt. Students responded very well to this session.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly for Race Equality Week 2022. It is suitable for ages 11-18 (KS3-KS5, Ages 11-18). This fits into the PSHE & Citizenship curriculum, the new RSE & Health Curriculum and is suitable for an assembly or tutor time session.

This lesson contains a review about smoking with a quiz and a competition. This was originally part of a PSHE day on smoking for Year 7 but can be used from KS2 - KS4 (Ages 7-16) as a standalone lesson or part of another lesson about smoking. It discusses questions about the law, addiction and chemicals and ends with a competition task for pupils to complete.

This lesson pack is a fully resourced Ofsted ready lesson about different Christian beliefs about fertility treatment and the main different methods that exist. It includes a carousel activity so students can find out about the different methods themselves with information cards, a chart worksheet to complete, differentiated questions, a match up starter activity, a full lesson plan and powerpoint focusing on exam skills and extra knowledge. This was originally a KS4 lesson produced for an Ofsted visit and it was graded outstanding and well received with the students. This can also be adapted to be used as a standalone resource for Fertility Treatment as part of PSHE or RSE & Health Education.
